Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I registered to bitcoinasic.net and would like to see my previous order history I had at btcfpga.com.
is it possible and how?
The contact form doesn't work.

May be the order history from https://www.btcfpga.com/ should be transferred to https://www.bitcoinasic.net/
and also PW and ID.
+1
Thought about the same after failed to log in with former credentials on the new site.

I can't even login with my email from the previous site.
The same is for me. Will edit my post for clarity.

May the WinTame Power be with you!

Aside from the account migration, I noticed a "forum" button which just redirects to this site.

It would probably be beneficial to setup a forum on the site itself for customers/people to get accurate information and news rather than wading through all the garbage posts and BFL_Trolls here.. (It may already be in the works, but just putting it out there).

Thx!

I think, once power numbers are revealed on more products, that will be a good time to choose who to order from.

I ordered from both. I honestly think both companies will produce great ASIC miners. I also distant myself from the mini wars that seem to pop up over and over again.

In the end its about the Coin itself, and our economy. Thats all that matters.

maybe this seems the case for you, but its not for me. i compared bfl and btcfpga, and after finding out tom is a guy i really like to support, i sticked with him. Plus i dont like to support anything like BFL. So for me its not all bout the coin.

Yes I have a lot of work to do to polish up Bitcoinasic.com and there are still some things to do until its completed, but since I ended pre-orders on batch 1 and the site was "nearly" ready I wanted to get it up and running. Will be polishing it up a bit today...

For right now that site is strictly for those who are interested in getting into a second batch, I was going to wait awhile before taking orders on a second batch but I got numerous calls from people yesterday asking me to please continue to take pre-orders for a second batch because they are waiting on money to come in etc, so the site is up now for that purpose. We have had no 2nd batch orders as of yet but I will let you know if we start getting them, however I can tell you for sure that I will be focusing much more on getting batch 1 out then selling batch 2.

until then all current customers please use btcfpga.com to access your account information

Im probably going to disappear into database world for awhile - to clean this db up, get rid of all the bad accounts and fake orders - once I get it all cleaned up and we only have real orders - I will then migrate it over to the new site.

Right now it looks like we have between 850-900 units ordered counting both 54ghs/s and 27gh/s units. Once I have the db cleaned up I can give an exact number ordered for both.

any feedback on how we can make the new site better is welcome.

if anyone needs me please call today - I will be very busy (the clock is ticking) but I will be reachable by phone most of the day if I don't answer leave a msg and I will call back.

@Tom,

On the order page for 2nd batch https://www.bitcoinasic.net/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=51 it still says "bASIC Mining boards are projected to ship in December of 2012". I know it's just copy/paste errata but somebody not following this forum could be confused.

May the WinTame Power be with you!

I'd love to have the option to upgrade my order to be shipped by DHL, as USPS can easily take two weeks including customs clearance.

I live in the US and frankly I'd pay for an overnight option.  The timeframe to get these things up and running are that critical for me.  I don't know if that's an option (I don't remember seeing it) but I'd gladly pay for it.

Is overnight shipping even an option?  Thanks.  It wasn't available when I ordered.

Tom, since so many people are asking for it.  Would you be able to clarify what we should do to get express shipping?  Thank you.  Figure I'd do this before emailing you.

Due to requests by numerous customers I added DHL Express Shipping to btcfpga.com

It costs $60.00 make sure you login to the same account you used to purchase our miners with

It has been added to make things fair for international customers - some countries in the EU for example it can take weeks to months to get a USPS package through customs.

If are domestic you are welcome to puchase this as well if you want but it will only get it there 1-2 days quicker than Priority mail which you already paid for.

Also if you buy the DHL you will not be refunded the $30 you originally paid. I made the price only $60 because I already took into account the $30 you have already paid.

Ill BBL but am reachable by phone
