Yes, that's what I intended to convey!

I think you know what I meant but thank you for the grammar lesson.

I'll need to get ahead of you then and sell all my S3's in April before they get too low in price on eBay like the S1.

 Grin Grin Grin

At least you guys get cheap eletricity. Here in Singapore, it's 25.28 Singapore Cents kWh (before 7% GST) which at current rates, probably around 19.15 us cents. But I'm still mining....

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I have some Bitmain coupons:

1. AntMiner C1 Coupon 50 USD x 8

2. AntMiner S3+ Coupon 50 USD x 8

3. AntMiner S4 Coupon 400 USD x 24

Good through December 15th

I'm not sure what they're worth, send me a message if you're interested.

Bitmain will give anyone a coupon if they ask. So they are worthless. Frankly even with the coupons, they are still way overpriced. Look into Phillipma's posts. He is loving his SP20's. Many are starting to sell off their s3's and s4's. Unless they greatly reduce the price... well, people will buy anything with a coupon these days.

Nope. But you probably can. Check the site to see if there's new firmware for the S3. Was thinking about it but I'm too lazy to go get a psu so I got another S4 instead. LOL. Besides, the S4 is a beast. It actually works better when overclocking, at least for one of my rigs. 2D 05H 30M, avg hashrate 2.3th, hw error 44.

Edit: the other 2 didn't do as good but still 2.3th avg only thing is hw errors 800+ for 11h 11m about 0.0035% so still within specs.

So what are your settings?  Mine came 200 @ 0725.  Manual shows 200 @ 0720.  Only averaging 1950GH/s.  I'd like more but don't want instability issues.

Edit: I'm on 220/240v so amp draw is lower. I cannot be responsible if your psu blows up in your face.

WOW!    WOW!!!  WOW!!!!!!

That is a LOT!!!  Sounds like there needs to be CHANGE!!!

It's hard for your businesses to compete in the world market if they have that high of electricity costs.  That also translates to paying employees less wages in order to pay for power costs to compete on the world stage.

Commercial rates are cheaper but not by much unless you go for contracts. They revise the price every 3 months. Goes up few cents, goes down few cents. Can't help it. We're so small, we can't have hydro/wind power (although I think we're looking into hydro using the sea.. not sure. Have to find out. LOL. Solar is the only other option but we have no space for solar farms. Unless they put panels on every apartment and house building, but that will only be enough to power the lights and maybe the lifts for that particular block.

Singapore has no natural resources. Everything is bought in... and when I say everything, I mean everything. The only thing we have is humans, pets and pests.

I am running them at 225mhz  0725volts and 2048 difficulty on Slush's pool and they are rockin out at 2250 +. And that's using a cheap computer power cord. The power cord is warm but not hot. They are drawing 13 amps each. I am blowing in cold air from outside. They are all running at about 43-44c. they will make about .033 BTC each a day.

Spoondoolies sp20 is not a better deal than the S4's. No way. Sp20 you can only overclock by 10% and they do not come with a PSU that will cost you $200 at least. S4 is the best deal out there right now. S4's can run on 240 volts and I just had mine overclocked to 2400 gh each on a single plain old power cord pulling about 14 amps. No one can beat Bitmain these days. Less cost, more hashing power, excellent fast customer support.

Bitmain posted the information in the table, on the first page of this thread.  Your calculation is very different for the bottom 2 recommendations.  I do not know what to think since your recommendation is much different than the manufacturer.

Obviously voltage to frequency ratio is not linear. Otherwise undervolting would be pointless, the goal is not to make your miner slower, but to make it more efficient (i.e. more hash per watt). Don't use any magic constants, try Bitmain's recommended values and tweak them around to find the best settings.

all semiconductors (like ASIC) energy consumptions have a logarithmic curve, yes but we can remove hashing power / energy cons. in our equation then finally
we have got a simple constant. this is not a magic constant. this is only ASIC minimum feeding constant. this is not calculates HASHRATE, you can calculate simply
which frequency needs how many volts. Bitmain guaranteed working conditions is based on hashrate. not efficiency. i worked 2 weeks on my S4s, because i have 2 faulty S4s so my 15 days gone for experiment then i fixed and shared my results on here. if you dont believe or respect my shares, you dont need to try that. dont be afraid this is not overclock THIS IS LOVERCLOCK. Great joke !  Grin

I have 37 Antminer S3(+)  Only 10 of them work with 500GH/s - So I already have expensive power supplies
I have 2 Antminer S4 (S4 is a pure gamble and my 2pc are pure shit , temp sensors failure, impossible to use a lower volts and  frequency without  much x)
I have 6 Antminer C1 - working well (only Two dead pump, endless RMA protsess with syscooling)
5x used Neptune (no problems yet)
1x SP20
2x SP20E (there were problems with the software, which became a quick solution from Spondooliestech)

SP20 are not for overclocking, I bought 15 pieces more for downclocking .
and sell off many sets of  Antminer S3 , which have  thanks bitmains large shipping costs still a good sales value in EU.

Trying this first.  Seems to be going well!  Not pulling much more and bringing in 2280-2290 GH/s.  Pretty happy with that.   Cool

Thanks!

For everyone who was having issues in getting their S4's to show full speed in their pools....

You do need to set your minimum difficulty to 2048 for each worker however I tried BTCGuild and they are paying about HALF of what Slush's pool is. I will make .0345 a day each in Slush's pool. BTCGuild was .016. S4's set at 225mh 0725 volts doing about 2200 gh.  No good. And that was at 16 shifts a day. Nooooo bueno.

mining.bitcoin.cz is the way to go.

If anyone is getting bigger pool payouys in a different pool please post it.

EDIT  P.S. does anyone have any info on the upcoming S5?
