Now, I know it's a long shot to find someone that needs this service, but I figure I might as well put my most unique marketable skill out there to try and earn some BTC.

I can read/write/speak Afghan Pashto at about a high school level and have real-world work experience using my language skills. Unfortunately, most of the jobs available to me as a translator involve working with/for the US government and after leaving military service I've pledged (to myself) to not use my language skills in an offensive military capacity ever again. I'd really like to get involved in legitimate commerce between Americans and Afghans as I believe strong trade relations are the best path to peace and mutual prosperity.

I know there are a lot of open-source programmers out there with all sorts of amazing projects in the works. If you can think of a way to tie Pashto into your project and try to bring tech-savvy Afghans into the Bitcoin economy, I'd be glad to help out.

Figured I'd give this a bump since the community has grown so much since i posted it...

I'd really love to use my language skills to help foster peaceful trade relations between Afghans and the English speaking world.
