I am new to bit coin and I set up a mining app on my phone will set up a mine operation on CPU when i et better graphics card. I know my phone is not contributing much only 1.23 khash/s but i have yet to see any mining data on the pool site i signed up for. Am I mining with no fruit for my labor or is my contribution too low to show up as any data. Very new to this and any help would be appreciated

Can't tell if this is serious or not, but CPU mining has been dead for years particularly on a phone. GPU mining is pretty much dead and has been for more than a year.

Your phone is contributing so little there is nothing to report, sorry to say.

If you're lucky, then the app you installed is truly trying to mine which means it's just burning up your battery and wasting money that you'll spend on electricity (since you'll have to recharge your phone more often). It isn't likely to ever successfully mine anything.

There's also a reasonably good chance that the app is a trojan designed to use your phone for destructive purposes or to try and steal information from your phone.

Thank you for informing me that all my efforts were futile how did the mining of bit coin decline and would it still be worth if i i had several computers mining? Also This app in particular is not a trojan horse but I did download one previously that was. Also shouldnt the mining pool show something because shows bit coin earning like this 0.00000000 and i figured i would of mined at least .000000001 by now.

Just Read
http://bloginhell.me/mining-bitcoin

then go to earn Bitcoins and youll earn more in 30 seconds on land of bitcoin than 10 years of mining on a CPU or mobile

better graphics card.

Sadly i would do some ROI math if your being serious.  For most gpu mining is no longer profitable.  You need to go into asics in most cases.

Wow, we're talking about a really, really unprofitable hash rate here! This isn't anywhere nearly yielding anything. You're lucky if you're even achieving even a single satoshi (smallest denomination in Bitcoin)

This is a discussion from a week ago, and you've said nothing that hasn't already been made clear earlier in this thread.

I assume you are just posting here to get your post count up so that you can earn more money from your signature ad?

Thank you for doing your part to reduce the signal-to-noise ratio on this forum.  If only we had more people like you, this forum could become truly useless.

Hey, don't be mean Sad ! I'm currently idleing around and thus spend some time on the forum! Was trying to help some other people on this board. All the threads have been touched within 24h, this one seems to be the exception (there's quite a significant drop from Oct 5 to Oct 2!)

Helping is good.

Uselessly bumping a week old topic and adding nothing new or helpful is spam and annoying.
