She'll get bored...

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Bitcoin will find itself too-boring, and will one-day create more drama just so it can feel alive again.

One off NP-Hard.

The Bitcoinica disaster is enough action if you ask me lately, thank you.

Edit: I am not bored, just saying.

The Bitcoinica disaster might have been a disaster for Bitcoinica speculators; I don't think it's such a disaster for Bitcoin

Bitcoin isn't a fad, and never was. It is more. The initial excitement isn't over, it has actually yet to begin. Bitcoin is the light that shines upon us as the world economy enters its darkest hour. Just don't stare directly at it. It's very bright. Cool

why? If they get coins back it beats being "tonged".

bitcoin is to useful to be a fad.
Unfortunately it seems like much to technical for the average joe!
And if it enters the high powered ASICs chapter it might end up highly speculative for those guys again.

don't let me make you question your assumptions

It looks highly unlikely anyone gets anything back. They need the rest of the money to pay for their lawyers.

Bitcoinica getting hacked was unavoidable

we all hoped they really did go to extreme measures to get a bulletproof app.

but that was not the case.

now 2 or 3 new "Bitcoinica"s will come and compete

each will be better then bitcoina and only one will be the best

the joint

The statement to end naysayers' arguments Smiley

I view Bitcoin as part of a greater whole, a good amount of which has recently been outlined on Cryptum.
