I don't think that his manipulation is still happening now, it does not matter to many anymore specially me.

The difference is this one says it all unlike back then whales would act not talk about their plans.

Elon Musk has 56 million followers and not all of them have good crypto investment management skills...

Many of his followers must buy/sell because they have been indoctrinated that everything Elon thinks must be followed, This is what makes Elon's tweets seem to have great power in the market.

Crypto market is unregulated and he knows that his influence can be that much of a factor that can move the markets that he's going to attack or embrace.

I think that most of the claims he makes are just extrapolations or outright fantasy. They might be entirely true, but it’s doubtful. But this doesn’t make him an expert, or even a good investor. I might be bad at forecasting, but even I can see that this is ridiculous.

No one wants to make others rich, they just pretend to be like that to increase the reputation which will give benefit to them in the form of money or the fame, etc. When someone blindly follows other people then their trust will be misused by the person which can even affect the community or society as whole so avoid seeing anyone as your cult or God, just get their knowledge through their actions.
