I am getting 5x s3's coming in this tuesday.

My question is as a newbie miner, can I mine using wifi rather then plugging right into my modem?

Any advice would help a lot.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

S3's dont have a antenna.   You might hit some or all depending on a lot of things.  But you would be wise to get some wires ready and wire it.

Ethernet is a much better option for mining.  Wifi has too much latency.
