DOGE has a very special place in the cryptoworld.
With Paypal's support, DOGE will eventually go mainstream.

Compare it to Dubstep and Trap music.

Dubstep and Trap were "underground" for a long time until an eventual mainstream breakout happened.
The same will happen with DOGE.

Doge is probably the greatest meme of all time, such funny, much shibe, wow.

DOGE is going to stay. It's a fantastic introduction to the cryptoworld and SO MANY PEOPLE want it to fail.

much FUD, such moon, very money.

Nice 300% rise in 30days. I personally would not go all in into Dogecoin, this might be just another pump, which will be followed with a dump. Thats just my opinion, haven't really done any research though.

No doubt that DOGE has a special place in CC world, but I honestly don't see the point to assert that it will go mainstream. Funny that you compare Doge with dubstep and trap - as you can see now dubstep is not in mainstream anymore

3% of over 100 bi is over 3 bi coin

inflation doomed doge.

2. Currency supply:

Dogecoin and bitcoin estimated inflation rate for the next 10 years.
2015: Bitcoin: 10.00% | Dogecoin: 5.20%
2016: Bitcoin: 9.09%   | Dogecoin: 4.94%
2017: Bitcoin: 4.17%   | Dogecoin:  4.71%
2018: Bitcoin: 4.00%   | Dogecoin:  4.50%
2019: Bitcoin: 3.85%   | Dogecoin: 4.30%
2020: Bitcoin: 3.70%   | Dogecoin: 4.13%
2021: Bitcoin: 1.79%   | Dogecoin: 3.96%
2022: Bitcoin: 1.75%   | Dogecoin: 3.81%
2023: Bitcoin: 1.72%   | Dogecoin:  3.67%
2024: Bitcoin: 1.69%   | Dogecoin:  3.54%

LOL you can post this chart forever, it just proves my point, 3% of ~150 bi coins in 2024 will be and extra 4.5 bi coins Cheesy

Neither Bitcoin nor Doge will survive that long, so it doesn't matter Smiley

It may or may not go mainstream. Nobody knows for sure. There are 11 reasons why I think that dogecoin will become a popular currency.
Some shibes even think that dogecoin will create a Decentralized Online Global Economy, but who knows?

It's just a pump, it won't last.

Do you really think Bitcoin is going to continue dropping in price while Dogecoin rises? Maybe Dogecoin will replace Bitcoin?

Seriously?!

Bitcoin will resume to rise too, but at a slow pace, while Dogecoin will see a faster growth, because it's severely undervalued even to Litecoin, not to mention Bitcoin. Dogecoin's volume of transactions is between Litecoin and Bitcoin. All of them won't survive to 2024, but in the short-term Dogecoin will outpace Bitcoin's rate of appreciation.

Hmm, does this make dogecoin something that can be easily manipulated? Seeing such a tiny market cap makes me a bit uneasy.

Thanks for the help man. Been reading a lot the past few days cause even though I've recently turned into a bitcoin believer, I know that right now it's on a downtrend and maybe hedging my bets on other coins could be proffitable.

Beginning of 2013 Bitcoin had a market cap of what 50 Million?Huh how can anyone not say that another currency cannot do the same? It was all speculation for BTC, therefore, any coin can feasibly do the same.

High-risk, high-reward.

In my opinion it is more probable for Dogecoin to gain half of bitcoin market cap, than for bitcoin to show the same amount of growth in the same period of time.

But as always, don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.
