OK, I've tried compiling my version of Phoenix, icatm, poclbm, an ocl miner and tried to get Diablo to work but I apparently stink at this and after 2 weeks I am resigned to the fact I need help!  I want to join a pool but only have the BETA 0.3.21 bitcoin.  Can anyone help me get this sorted out so I can join a pool and perhaps get some bitcoin? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Diablo is not that difficult to get going under Java, but my recommendation is to go for poclbm. See these instructions:

Excellent!!!!!!!!  2nd question, how can I check my wallet using this method? Is this using my GPU or my CPU's and is there a toggle between the 2?

I would just use the bitcoin client app you already have (beta 0.3.21) to check your balance.

And poclbm will mine on the gpu or cpu, depending on which you choose with the -d flag. If you run it without -d it will tell you what's installed and give you the numbers you need to specify which one you want.

If you want it to run on both, open two windows and run an instance in each, one with -d 0 and one with -d 1.

OK, is there a way to turn down my ask rate?  My efficiency is circling the drain Sad  Is there a listing of the flags I can use?
