PayPal is doing this BitCoin adoption in two steps:

1. Braintree SDK, solely partnered with Coinbase
2. Babystep: PayPal Payment Hub partnered with Coinbase, BitPay, GoCoin to offer BitCoin transactions for ONLY digital goods in North America.

Does anybody know:

Question 1, why choosing only one partner when developing SDK with Braintree? Why can't they just use Coinbase's API?

Question 2, why choosing three partners for Payment Hub? Will customer be able to choose which one of the three Bitcoin processors to use?

Thanks!
