Paypal prohibts selling cryptocurrency directly (coins in exchange for money), they'll freeze your account.  I used to sell BTC on ebay, they put a stop to that about a year ago.

Yes Paypal does prohibits that but if people are paying for credit and then buying the cryptocurrency with that credit. That is not against the TOS of Paypal.

The other thing was fraud, when I was selling bitcoin on ebay in 2013, 9 out 10 transactions were from compromised accounts. It's amazing that even though paypal has 2FA, hardly anyone uses it.

See we have six layers of security to stop fraud. But you're right I think paypal should make it's users use 2FA before using they can use paypal.
