I tried Cyberghost for a few weeks, seemed to work fairly well and didn't really slow my my tinternet connection.
did you had premium subscription? to me on free server it always shows server full!!
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I don't think TOR is as slow as it used to be, if your really concerned about privacy when doing any sort of transactions or what ever you want to do, I would just deal with the wait times. They are not that bad any more, TOR gets a thumbs up from me. I think there are some free VPN services out there, never tried them but I know they exist.

Yes I am using VPNs for watching TVIN (something like netflix but for slovenia) when I am abroad or for getting more apps to download on my phone and so I get more points. With them I can buy amazon, itunes giftcards.
My refferal link if someone wants to join: https://m.freemyapps.com/share/url/80392349
And link without refferal: https://m.freemyapps.com

Most of time I am using free VPN getusvpn.com or getukvpn.com
