HBO confirmed developing "Game of Coins".

Ha! No surprise there, though it'll be interesting to see if it actually comes to light (many projects get shitcanned early on).

So what do you imagine BM's reward for all of this negative press is?

Ummm....not a lot. unless you count a lifetime of unemployment as a reward.
BM is already on record as accepting 2 coding contracts within crypto, both of which he blew off spectacularly: Open Transactions and jl777s NXTAutoDac.
Any employer who Googles him......yeah, we'll call you back.

Still, I can't feel too sorry for him, he has worked very, very hard to get himself into this fucked-up position.
This is why I am starting to believe that BM may actually have a mental/psychological condition.
I'm not trying to insult him, but his actions don't really make much sense from my point of view.
Either he doesn't realise that he's lying, or he is doing this out of compulsion.

He'd be a lot better off just keeping quiet and enjoying his stolen NXT, rather than trying to launch an anti-crypto crusade.
If i'd just stolen a big fistful of crypto...i'd be hanging out on a sunny coast for a year or 2, not spending my days behind a PC in Phoenix.

Ironic, I built the OT news portal and wrote a few pieces for OT, as well (brilliant software; as good as OpenBazaar, with a different approach)... goes to show the crypto world is actually fairly small, albeit with a big net worth.

Still, I can't feel too sorry for him, he has worked very, very hard to get himself into this fucked-up position.
This is why I am starting to believe that BM may actually have a mental/psychological condition.

Either he doesn't realise that he's lying, or he is doing this out of compulsion.

Not realizing he's lying would indicate psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies... out of compulsion would indicate that he sincerely believes said bodily threats are real. Fascinating, either way.

Good ol' fashioned "white collar" crime at it's finest... crypto-style, that is. Which is what really got me to thinking about BM's real motives.

If JL and nxt shitcoin crew are scammers or not from whois the fault?? yes yours for investing on shit projects.

how can someone even invest in something that is called "next" ? the names that refer itself to their "plan" are all scams.

Taking your context, why would any ordinary person in real world would embrace any crypto currency. Your statement lacks logic.

It's crap threads like this that ultimately decide whether nxt will be a serious contender for the future or not...

Do you guys seriously think this reflects well on your community?

Lately when I think of nxt all I hear are scams, stealings, pissed off people, jl777, etc etc etc...how is any of this supposed to go mainstream when the community is full of whiners/cheats/assholes???

A silly thread decides a future of crypto. A very interesting thought. So what are you suggesting, POP, Proof of Posting?  Grin

That was actually quite funny and almost even plausible, considering that this gal is introducing a new, exciting "proof of"... proof of stripShocked

Anyone feel like being my agent? I'll give you a whopping 50% commission to sell the thing.

And that's the rub right there. Pitching a script is not difficult (I've got the contacts). However, having a script worth pitching is the key, along with a compelling storyboard. I'm definitely potentially interested in a JV, via a private Bitpool (or equivalent).

How about you give me ideal specs and I'll write it with your input? Do we want a thriller about a rogue disinformation agent perhaps? Shall we make it an updated "digital" detective yarn?

We can include a nice aside involving a single mom being tormented by an unhinged criminal who contacts her place of employment, using social media to try to sabotage her life, sends threatening or confusing emails to her loved ones, and when she tries to find out what is going on the authorities are completely clueless as how to help... until someone explains to them how a blockchain works... they're able to "follow the money" as a starting point of their investigation... at one point they think it's the Russian Mob... later they suspect numerous government agencies... the big reveal is that it's a simple con artist who who goes to conventions and pretends to be a developer in order to swindle people who have no legal recourse because they have chosen to be anonymous or live abroad.

I can write a feature length film like that in a single weekend if I thought there would be genuine interest.

You've definitely got the right idea, albeit with several salient points missing (i.e. antagonist is a psychopath/sociopath/highly disturbed, etc.)As I understand it, you did indeed write the story that started the shitstorm.

While the copyright on the (CoinTelegraph?) story you wrote is presumably yours, the course of events are not exclusively yours; hence this project should be a collaborative effort. That said, PM me if you're serious, I am willing to set up a dedicated BitPool (or perhaps even a private Google Group) for the express purpose of this screenplay.

Simply bad ass. No wonder I so dearly love the wild and crazy world of crypto! My above offer stands to those in the know, that can conduct business professionally. I'm serious. This story freakin' ROCKS, and would do more to push crypto into the mainstream than any other single endeavour.

It does seem like a perfect storm for material now - "Bluemeanie/moneroman & NXT" & "monero vs BCX" - That's a BIG canvas to work with!!

Who wants to try and sum the situation up in 4-5 minutes of video?

Picture says a thousand words, short film probably says a Billion!!

Documentary, mockumentary, fiction, musical, direct to camera monologues, dialogues/interviews  ... anything you want.

The kicker is that this can evolve into a real (offline) movie, which is where I see the greatest potential. However, anything, no matter how small, that can grab traction (i.e. viral video) is definitely one step closer to crypto mass adoption!

I merely present the facts and offer my analysis (which is ultimately a subjective opinion about the facts). I trust my readers to draw their own conclusions. Is it my fault they all seem to agree with my rational, fact based analysis? Is it the rational universe that's wrong? Is the blockchain lying? Or... and I know this might sound crazy... did you really do something you shouldn't have done?
