Hi everyone,

My name is Nick Carlson, and I'm a software developer. You can find my resume on my website ncarlson.com. I'm also the creator of RogueMiner.

The services I'm offering include code reviews, test writing, refactoring, documentation writing, and perhaps developing a limited amount of new functionality for an existing application. I will entertain all offers at this point.

This is an experiment for me. We're living in interesting times, and I can't wait to see Bitcoin's effect on future commerce.

Feel free to post a response here, or email me a nacarlson@gmail.com.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Just to give an update,

I started work on a small open source project. I received 60 Bitcoins for 12 hours of work. I'm half way through the contract as of this writing.

My blog post also generated some nice press:

http://www.betabeat.com/2011/05/18/will-work-for-bitcoin-coder-says-most-people-just-using-it-as-an-investment-vehicle/

Like I said in my post, I'll be doing this experiment for about a month, effectively through the month of June. If there are any other interested parties out there, feel free to contact me.
