Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Coinbase was jacking price above average last 2 hours, and now they say you have to buy now and when your funds arrive next Friday you will pay the exchange price AT THAT DAY'S PRICE, just ridiculous!

yep sucks, but it shows that there is a big ass demand for BTC if they cannot even supply the coins

The price seemed to be closer to the exchanges other than BitStamp, possibly a countermeasure to that huge $300 wall earlier?
