Are BFL's good for anything other then mining? Gaming? Password cracking? Do they need custom code?
Not yet. BFL promised to release customizable firmware in the future if they became worthless for Bitcoin mining (i.e., if Bitcoins no longer held value). But right now, the ONLY thing they can be used for is mining. |
