there is a batch program that handles incoming orders at a time every seconds.
so, there  can be a time gap between Real end date and Prediction end date
there is also seed generator program that it generate seed value every seconds.
Betting start seed date : the seed generation time selected by start date.
Betting expire seed date : the seed generation time selected by real end date.
* 5 seconds means time difference between start date and Prediction end date.
but actually it even can be more  6 seconds between betting start seed date  Betting expire seed date
because it can be 0 ~ 999 millseconds  between  Prediction end date and Real end date, Real end date  and Betting expire seed date.

Edit: There is no much sense in claiming refund. One, the player both wins and losses bets due to the error and the players who are in a net profit won't be coming forward to send it back.

Two, if the error has altered any 5seconds value then you won't be able to find out which is a win and which is a lose. (if true, you won't be able to get even an estimate)
