Hi. I want to buy more than 50.000 BTC but at the lowest price.
I'd like to buy them in a bulk, but if you can offer a good prices for bulks of 10.000, 5000 or even 1000 I will consider buying.
I am waiting for the best offer. Thank you and Merry Xmas!

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I just stumbled across this. Rate was about 0.25 then. Translates into 12.500 USD.

OP is either:
- A very happy rich man living on a private island in the Caribbean
- A dead guy (suicide)

50 000 BTC is not enough to live on a private island in the Caribbean.

He said 50.000 not 50000
Guess that's a typo.

The early adopter fallacy: how do you know when to sell? If you buy bitcoins at 0.25, it is pretty probably to sell at 5 or maybe 10.

So, probably if OP has managed to buy back then, he could have sold at 2 USD or maybe at 30 USD. Who knows.

In many European countries, the dot an comma are used the other way around compared to how they are used in English-speaking countries. It's not a typo.

Never new that. That could cause some major headaches.

OT:

Regarding Locale and Regional numeric formats, I feel that people should write numbers in the format of the language that they are writing in.

If you are writing in English (whether en_US, en_UK or some other variant), fity-thousand should be written as 50,000. If you are writing in German or Dutch, it would be 50.000. I've even seen some spreadsheets from Swiss banks where people would format is as 50`000.

Whatever it is, use the format of the language you are wrting in! That way there will be much less confusion.

Familiar with the hyperbole?
