Intersting research Defunctec - thank you for it!

A little research into the current hashrate of Crowncoin and profitability

The current profitability per TH per day for crowncoin is about 0.00006176BTC@450TH/0.00010080@250TH

250TH = 0.0252 total creation in BTC per day
450TH = 0.02779 total creation in BTC per day

The profitability of merge mining say unobtainium is around 0.01261BTC per day @250TH.

This has been going on for a good few weeks now with an average hashrate of around 250TH. If buy support keeps trickling in, crowncoin should remain a competitor to all other merged mined coins, and is quite possibly the most profitable coin to merge mine right now.

We can expect more adoption by sites like coinwarz, block explorers and pools.

Who know what the hashrate will be next month, 1PH?

Hi,

I have recently discovered that if I have CRW running on my sha port, it blocks UNO and MYR from generating blocks. As soon as I disabled CRW, they began creating blocks again...

Is there a known conflict with these coins? Is there some conflict with chainid's or something?

Some insight would be great,

Thanks!

The crw merged mining function was taken from namecoin. Can you try connecting namecoin to your pool if it does the same?

namecoin gives me other errors and doesn't run on my stratum. Some sort of getmempool  error.

Crowncoin project update:

Hi guys! There were some changes in our team.

The core team however remains. I want to summarize the 1.5 year history of the coin:

1. Crowncoin story and logo created and the coin was fairly launched! (See the history here)
2. Listed on c cex
3. Merged mining with BTC implemented (with help od domob - key namecoin dev)
4. Name your address function implemented (domob)
5. Timestamping function implemented (domob)
6. Crowncoin logo was timestamped in the blockchain - this gave the coin the security there will not be a "different" crowncoin with the same story and logo
7. Net hashrate reached 1000 TH / s yesterday - miners starting to use CRW as the key merged mined coin

The coin is well positioned for the next move:

Next steps:
1. Timestamping web such as originstamp.org - in order to make the timestamping function on the CRW / BTC blockchain much easier so people can easily protect their products amd ideas - 150k bounty for anyone who can help!
2. Development of Other Applications that will use the CRW blockchain - please let me know your ideas, we will pay bounties for developers who can help us!

Please send any messages to my personal box - we are looking for new knights who want to support this coin and who believe it has a chance to succeed!

In Crown we trust!

Has wallet development been stopped?

Great. I sent 10k to the development of the wallet, I doubt I'll get that back.

So what's the plan now?

I still think we need paid full nodes. This adds extra security to the network by countering mining power.

I've seen a few sha-256 coins with 'masternodes', so it shouldn't be impossible to implement.
We just need someone to do it. Do we still have contact with domob?

It's cool man.

What do you think about my paid full node idea?

Skullbuzz was a sha-256 coin with masternodes

I will try to find the masternode code

The hashrate is the lowest I've seen in a while, 82TH!

Other merged mined coins like unobtainium only have about 200TH atm.

We should push to be added onto coinwarz.
We have one of the biggest hash rates of alt coins but no sign of being added.

You can thank me if you get added. https://twitter.com/clark_alastair/status/725657495914598404 go and create some noise now, retweet, and make your own tweets to coinwarz.
