According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

GlowCoin Dice game added Smiley Thank you xPooky. bounty sent  Wink

http://glow.dice.cryptospot.me

I have recieved email from CryptoAsian regarding the POD, I will fill in and send the form back to him today  Smiley

We will push out the wallet update at the end of POW, We hope we get a listing on c-cex or bittrex before then, so we can integrade the trading and blockexplorer. Instead of 2 single updates Wink

Goodday all

I had a meeting with the team last night. We are going to destroy a part of the premine Smiley

We decided to re index the premine funds.

We still have 139K left of the premine.

7500 GLOW must be paid to our Promotion guy.
The signature campaign must be paid.
Our android developer agreed on a 20K glow offer instead of the previous 30K  Smiley

This will leave us with about ~110K glow.

The total amount of GLOW will be a lot less then 3 million. By some quick calculations, we will not even touch the 2 million total after POW. This makes our premine a ridicilous chunk of the total coins. We dont want that, and I am sure you guys dont want that Wink

We have decided to destroy 70K of the ~110K that will be left after paying the promised bounties Smiley

We hope we can make this happen in co-operation with bittrex or c-cex. So we will have no influence on the "destroying" address Wink

Cool Cool Huh Huh Huh Huh bittrex dev  Angry

Working on that, please be patient

Premine coins can be used as game or lotto awards, if there is strict FROM =>TO tracking possibility present. This can be done through third parties, for security, trust and clarity. For example Bittrex or some other exchange. More coins + more distribution = more users + more mainstream... or something like that Smiley
May be coin is lacking some feature (in near future) and needs developer hand (who needs motivation)... Or may be devteam can even today set some goals and features and it is possibility to assign bounties for these goals.
Just my opinion.

Destruction of coins and total coin supply being a third less than expected should be good for rarity-based price increase at least as PoW ends.

If you secure PoD and a Bittrex listing soon afterward, this will have been a fantastic mining investment.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will discuss this with the other team members.

Regarding the bounties, we decided to scrap a few of them, since we are going to cut the premine amount heavily Wink

We will re add bounties when we have a clear and established view of the marketprice for GLOW,

Dont forget to retweet if you want to trade glow on bittrex!

Because ive been around quite awhile, and you should probably be very aware as I am,  of anything unusual that happens when installing any wallet, especially since this 'doesnt' happen to all qt wallets.. I've seen this type of thing several times. Im just bringing it to attention.

No it happens when new coins are cloned from coin wallets that have this problem. Truth of the matter is, the problem perpetuates when cloning is the norm.
