Hi!

Somebody hacked my e-mail account. Got access to my original Btctalk account and changed my password so I can't login anymore.

Who can help me with this?

Thanks in advance

Only admins can help you and only if you can provide proof that the account belongs to you.

You should state the original account so it gets negative trust for the moment until everything is resolved.

It doesn't matter how strong or long your password is if you've got a keylogger or reuse the same password or enter it into a phishing site. If you can I'd set up 2-factor on your email address. 2-factor will be coming for this site with the new forum early next year so hopefully that will cut down most of these hacked accounts.

It is likely the hacker has changed your email on your bitcointalk account as well, so you should send theymos a PM (for details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0).

I don't have idea what happanened. I've thinked I use everything carefully but looks like not.

Hacker got acces to my F2pool and Guild account too.... I have luck he was just able to steal 0.44 Btc.

I've changed my e-mail and everything now, made a complete revision on all my accounts.

I'm just sad to loose my Sr. membership here....

I would suggest you to should do a through malware check as well if you haven't done so yet.

You need to wait patiently now as recovering accounts is not the top priority job for theymos. You may try to re-send your PM after a week or so if you haven't heard anything back.

That sounds mostly like vaporware so far. In the meantime, I don't understand why theymos or badbear doesn't implement 2fa for the existing forum in the interm since something like that is sorely needed.

Why even bother starting a thread about your issue, you could've just sent a PM to an admin :^)

Littel up for me....

After a long run with the e-mail provider and the police finellay I got back my e-mail address.

I'll try to make a new password for Btctalk, hope I can.

Any options to remove the negative trust if i'm able to log in?
