Thanks for the offer, I had considered getting an Amazon gift card with https://www.spendbitcoins.com/ but was hoping to avoid the pointless box & shipping. I'm surprised that Amazon doesn't offer digital download on this one. If they did, I would have purchased it by now. |

Good question. Aside from Blizzard themselves (battle.net), I'm not entirely sure. I'll try digging around but these days I buy games almost exclusively off Steam unless it's not an option so I'm out of practice. |

That's disappointing. I did check beforehand, it says in their FAQ that you can gift anything that's available as a digital download. Try chatting with support? I'm sure something can be worked out. Thanks for the effort regardless. |

OK so after waiting for 40 minutes to talk to someone at Blizzard they were able to cancel the purchase on my account. Apparently SC2 and D3 are not available for gifting for some reason (even though an email went out saying 'Give the gift of Diablo 3!')
So in order for me to purchase a copy for you that is not physical, you would need to allow me to log in to your battle.net account.
Physical copies I can do through amazon and gift a slight discount on.

Yeah, I don't know what Blizzard's problem is. So far I have ordered Diablo 3 three times with one credit card and all three purchases have failed and they downgraded the account. Fortunately, the character progress was not lost. So I have tried buying it a fourth time with a different credit card. If that one fails then I am probably just going to buy a key from someone. Blizzard really should figure their crap out so they can take money from people. Absolutely ridiculous. |
