The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Sending under gift?  You genius.  That means it is utterly irreversible.*  Essentially digital USD cash.   This is going to bring Bitcoin to the masses.   Hurry open the Paypal to BTC exchange before others get rich off your idea.

* No it isn't.

No one is going to send you their irreversible Bitcoins for your reversible Paypal. For every bump you bump, I'll bump this link back.

and for the link lazy

Money sent through PayPal and any other money transfer service that accepts credit cards can be easily reversed by the sender, even after several weeks. Therefore, you should only accept PayPal in trades with people you trust very highly.

This is why newbies are not likely to sell their PayPal USD for bitcoins successfully.

Some other services that are not totally safe:
- AlertPay
- Paysafecards
- Dwolla
- Western Union (they reportedly will sue the recipient to recover money in some cases)

That's right.  No one should trust any PayPal to BTC transfers.  The only exception should be trusted friends and business partners.  Everything else is high risk.  It's just the way it works.

You won't find a p2p trader who will trade with you unless you have an established relationship with them.

I like to at least present the most viable option when the question is asked before I join the troll army in bashing paypal.

Wow that was a really bad trade. 4.99 per coin ? You should have charged more since there is always a risk of using PP.

Bitcoin is the future !

To make it interesting I posted two orders on my site www.coineta.com to buy 10 bitcoins each for $7 per bitcoin. One order is in Canadian dollars, another is in US. Your recipient PayPal account has to be in US or Canada. Don't worry, I am not going to run away with your money. I need to promote my site and I make enough money in my regular job as a programmer in a Canadian bank
