I am interested in any recommendations on super quiet replacement fans for the Antminer s9 and/or S7.  Thanks!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

No such animal as the internal heatsink layout of them prohibits it. They require not only high CFM but also have that flow delivered at high pressure to overcome the internal resistance and that = LOUD. Search the s7 and s9 threads, this has been discussed to death in them.

However, that said: At least the s7's can be under volted/under clocked and that in turn leads to fairly quiet operation. Search for Sidehack's thread un undervolting the s7.

Thanks for the info!  I guess this puts my quest for the perfectly silent miner to bed.   Wink

R4 is your "quiet" miner option.

S7 and S9 need too much airflow (unless you GREATLY undervolt the S7 like the Sidehack mods did) to be able to survive with a "quiet" fan outside of the Arctic or Antarctic.

Lol - I've become fond of the S7-LN.  They make for quiet space heaters as Fall weather enters my area.
