My miners keep freezing from the link in the op for my 280x and 270x.

I get the "waiting for work to b available from pool" then it freezes up. I have to keep restarting the miner.

What's your config?

I'm on ocminer pool, and works well with my 290x, 280x, 7950 and 7970

i just put -I 19 in the config file, that's all

--thread-concurrency 8192 -I 19 --worksize 256 -g 2

EDIT: Trying just the -I 19 I lose about 1 Mh/s on each card, 280x and 270x. I'll take it though if the miner doesn't freeze. I lost about 6 hours last night while I was asleep.

if your still having problems im running an r9 270 and an r7 265 with the following settings

-i 19,18 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 14208 -w 256 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1198 --gpu-memclock 1498 --gpu-powertune 20,10

giving me ~4.8mhps (270) & ~3.9mhps (265) i do keep getting "waiting for work..." every now and then but its been running since launch without a crash Smiley

Use admin privileges, may be sgminer can't write the bin file.

Is there any ccminer for CUDA 3.0?

Well, that was a major brainfart on my part. Thought the Kepler shuffle instruction was available only from 3.5 up when it in fact was introduced in 3.0.

New win32 binary with compute 3.0/3.5/5.0/5.2 at https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer/releases

900-series card owners should also find this release more to their liking than the first one.

Edit: Oh yea, somebody was asking for a compute 2.1 release. The SIMD kernel makes heavy use of shuffle and rewriting it or trying to dig up an old version that doesn't use shuffle just ... doesn't feel like something I want so spend my time on, sorry Smiley
tsiv  did you do any improvement on 5.0 since the one you posted a couple hrs ago?

Depends on what you mean by 5.0. I did add a couple of tweaks that bumps the S3 hashrate up by something like 40% on a GTX 970 but I don't think it really helps the 750 Ti that much. And I can't test it right now as my 750 rig is rented Tongue

3.4 Mh/s HD7850 slightly overclocked
catalyst 14.9 driver
I=19
g=2

seems like I should have a higher hashrate

Also, who are these people with 1000+ Mh/s ?  I need to see a picture of one of these (enormous gpu farms?).  I'm going to make no money from this lol
I'm doing just as good as I would with a CPU a year ago competition wise.

Why rofl, it's a common problem ! Sgminer freezes if it can't create the bin file...
If it was a bat problem, the shares wil be rejected !

Thanks both but it looks like I am just having problems all around that is unrelated to this.

No matter what I run now it gets killed due to inactivity.

I am just going to stop for the day.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

apologies I thought you were telling me to start with admin privileges,
from earlier posts its hashing for a few minutes before die'ing a death so I'd presume the bin files are being created properly but i could be wrong it happens often
