I had the same problem. I compiled the miner from github and that problem happened to me. You just need to download the binaries and it would work.

The hashrate should update in less that 1 minute.

I had the same problem. I compiled the miner from github and that problem happened to me. You just need to download the binaries and it would work.

The hashrate should update in less that 1 minute

If you download the binaries you only need to unzip them and execute it.

Wait noticed that on one CPU speed when mining Solo 6000pps, 3000 at the pool at all so?

you might have to add (--threads x) at the end of your bat file, where x is the number of cpu threads you have (or cores)
for a 6 core cpu it would be "gapminer -o http://mine3.gap.nonce-pool.com -p 4200 -u username.worker -x password --threads 6"

I ended up pointing all my hash to the pool

It turns out that build instructions contain the link to the solo miner (https://github.com/gapcoin/GapMiner.git instead of https://github.com/noncepool/GapMiner.git). Source dowloaded using the second link builds and works perfectly.
