Phew! Here we are, a few minutes late (damn timezones!)
 
We are very proud to present to you the latest release of the Cloak PoSA3 wallet: RC1 (v1.9.7.51). We believe this to be a finalized version of our new 'PoSA3' trustless, anonymous transaction system. The purpose of this test is to provide a final round of feedback from the Cloak Community before we prepare the 'final' PoSA3 wallet for release. As many of you are aware, the release of RC1 marks the start of our third-party auditing process and the inner workings of the PoSA3 and Cloak Shield will now be independently verified prior to release on the 'live' Cloak network. We've been working hard on this for some time and don't expect any significant issues with the audit. As promised we will publish a report after the audit has concluded to outline any issues discovered and detail the changes we made to resolve any issues. We'd once again like to thank you all for your continued good faith and support on this journey we are all taking together

What's changed in this release (since Beta#1):


* Improved PoSA output masking - Cloaking outputs are now further split in order to further improve transaction Cloaking.
* Added ability to customize the number of 'splits' used for Cloaking - This option is available when sending.
* Added options for controlling Cloak Shield Onion Routing (min. nodes required, min. hops and min. routes).
These control 'number of posa nodes needed minimum', 'number of hops on an onion route' and 'how many onion routes each cloak shield packet travels along' respectively.
* Added new 'Status' icons to wallet to show 'Cloakers' more information on PoSA Cloakings they are assisting with.
* Resolved deadlock issues from Beta1.

 

There is still a little GUI work to be done on the wallet interface for the final 'live' release, and this will be carried out while the audit takes place. We will also be using the results of this wider test in order to tune the default settings for Cloak Shield and PoSA sending. Our goal is always to make the process as simple as possible for users, so the 'final' wallet will be optimized for ease of use. Any feedback from the Cloak Community (from this test) will also reviewed any any necessary changes made.
 
Please try the various settings and make a note of any issues or things that aren't clear or are confusing. If you experience any issues, we'd greatly appreciate a copy of your debug.log file. You can find this in your Cloak data directory. We like to delete the log periodically when testing internally, to keep the size manageable. Logging in this release is rather verbose, so that we can get detailed feedback during testing. Please hop into #cloakcoin on Freenode IRC to chat live with the Cloak Team and Community during testing.

If taking part in this test, please be sure to back up your existing wallet.dat file somewhere safe! It should be fine, but please always err on the side of caution when playing with crypto.

there is no need to copy the blockchain, testnet is running on its own blockchain, please dont copy the original cloakcoin blockchain to testnetfolder, since they are running with different setups.

Technically you are right and everything what you wrote is correct, just not in one case, if something is not working and there is no bugfree code on this planet and I even do not mention release Version of this wallet, yes, I assume this is a bug.

No it was not an openssl (1.0.2d) issue and it's not about testnet, I got this error messages and I solved my problem. Maybe I could debug and find out what is causing this error, but honestly, I do not have time for this.

Again, if anyone experiences the same error I posted and has openssl installed, try my workaround, for me it worked.

BTW: Wallet looks great
