So, the post above^. Was that the big announcement or was is there more?
This is the precursor to a bigger set of deals. The cloak team has essentially released a product. BTC has miners, CLOAK now has minters.

Dear Cloak Community, We're pleased to announce the first version of the Cloak wallet for Raspberry Pi. As many of you are aware, low-cost/low-power devices such as the Raspberry Pi will form an important part of the Cloak network and eco-system as we move forward. This is the non-graphical version requiring command line use through SSH as the RasPi version is primarily for running a minting process. For those wishing to do some minting/mining of CLOAK you can now offload the process from your desktop and run the RasPi linux daemon (headless) on a Raspberry Pi2 or Pi3 running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS (both versions available, 64-bit for Pi3 only). An 8Gb Class 10 uSD Card is recommended and download/install the Jessie Lite image (no Graphical UI). You will install and run cloakcoind as a headless server (see instructions). You can even run a script in rc.local to auto load at boot time. As with any CLOAK wallet you wish to mint with, it requires sending some CLOAK to your RasPi wallet as the POS (Proof-Of-Stake) process needs some CLOAK to lend out in transactions. The more CLOAK you have available the more minting fees you will acquire over time. There are no current plans to create a graphical version for the RasPi as your personal wallet as this is better handled on your desktop. We are however looking into a thin-client for interfacing directly with the RPC interface. Peace and Love,
Team CloakThank you CLOAK team. One more step in the right direction. Waiting for open source

I for one am very pleased with the news. It is very challenging to release and know you folks must be very careful to assure results are proven before release. I will continue to accumulate and support the cloak team.

I had the hope of "open source" or something similar. For me, these news are boring "The Cloak team were absolutely crestfallen to discover that Duke Nukem was unexcited by their latest release." This will put us off bubblegum and ass-kicking for at least a week

I had the hope of "open source" or something similar. For me, these news are boring Really? Would it not be even more boring if there wasn't any news? It's all good, the team is engaged and working, that's all we can ask. Perhaps the next announcement will excite you more...

Fear not, a strange Indian man has been sent to give you a hand job while you're waiting for open source. Dude this is too much, please avoid this Indian language.. I had the hope of "open source" or something similar. For me, these news are boring They already announced that they will open code so then this is not news. I not sure what will happen on that exact day, but for serious code review we will wait 3 - 6 months so this is period of Cloak evaluation, my assumption is we will see nice and slow rise, instead of pump. So, the post above^. Was that the big announcement or was is there more?
Don't get yourself confused, this is totally unexpected update, surprise from the Team. We still awaiting for code release.

with the new updates and useful progress i guess will be able to see more investors to join this project as we all wanted for this coin to be more useful in terms of technology better to keep your eyes inside the trade site and see how far the coin will rise up after new investors will see its potentials. good luck cloak team and keep the community updated.

Hey, I noticed that everybody is using this thread for speculation, so I went ahead and created a speculation thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1940913.new#newI feel like it would add some legitimacy if there's both an active CLOAK ANN and speculation thread floating around this forum instead of just an ANN thread.
