Hey, I've installed the CloakCoin Windows wallet, and it throws me an error, please contact the developers it says. It has troubles unzipping the blockchain zip, after downloading it. So I downloaded it myself from an old Google cache ('CloakCoin Downloads').

Then, I unzipped the whole thing to it's %appdata%\Roaming\Cloakcoin folder, and now their application seems to work correctly. I can synch and have no errors anymore. But is this the right way to go?

I have only 4 active peers in connections. How can I get more peers please, is there an up to date list of IPs somewhere?

Anyone can help or experiencing the same? I run the latest clean build of Win10 x64 bit as for operating system, without anything installed except for Firefox, that is all.

 There seems to be a corrupted zip, which is automatically created once or twice a day. We are working on that issue! The manual download is the way to go in the case the automated download doesn't work.

No, they don't. When those coins stake the next time and the block is accepted you get a higher reward, as the coinage not be destroyed by an orphaned block.

Ah good, I thought wrong parameters were given to zlib1's decompress function because of a Windows update, but you're not using system native DLL for that which is good. Well, it's not Windows' work.

Actually, the fork has been cancelled. I don't believe anything was planned for CLOAK that depended on the fork timing.

ALTS were sold off to purchase BTC in the hope of getting the free segwit coin, as  Segwit is  now  postponed BTC  profits will  flow to the ALTS.
Cloak dropping below $5 was an anomaly and the price will now  adjust itself back upwards.

Cloakcoinscam is a joke, he is either pushing for people to dump to buy on the cheap for himself or he is a large stakeholder of a direct competitor.

He has barely a basic understanding of the technology and goals of the project.

I questioned his motives and he said he was participating in free market.... whatever that means to him.

Hope he gets himself banned.
