The report is clear CLOAK has not died its development will continue and Cloak will survive as in its past

Delisting on Bittrex was a death sentence for the tokens selected for the cutting block. Shortly after each announcement, the symbolic price of almost all deleted projects decreased significantly. Since April, Bittrex has removed 41 selected chips from the list on a case-by-case basis.
The company provides general guidance on the deletion process, but does not publicly indicate the reason for the deletion of each project, which encourages investors to speculate. On average, the announcement of the delisting reduced the price of these tokens by 42% after 24 hours and by 51% after one week.

I am hopeful because Cloak will get up as he has always done. it is a very good piece that deserves to be better known.

Is the delisting of privacy coins happening on other exchanges and with other similar coins? CLOAK never had an easy road, but another delisting would mean a blow. I hope Bittrex will reconsider or perhaps relist CLOAK soon after. Seems a bit unfair..  Huh

However, there is an amalgam on CLOAK because this part does offer confidentiality and is auditable. Please note that we have never had any justification for the withdrawal from Binance while Cloak meets the requirements and obligations because Cloak coin was provided a "V-label" (the best possible label) by Binance's own research.

For Bittrex the average hard market Bittrex is a constant higher than the places 80 to 200 check in https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bittrex/ top 360

It is certainly true that this mass withdrawal is directed against Cloak in a directed and voluntary way by decision-makers in the shadows, for me there is no doubt about that.

All that remains is to re-register on Binance and Bittrex since currently Cloak still meets the "V-label" (the best possible label) by Binance's own research. Bittrex may want fresh BTCs against registration....

Cloak is at -80% since the Bittrex delisting announcement and at -290% since the Binance delisting. The team is still there, no one has fled, projects are still underway and the roadmap is active. It's still nice, though Smiley

Is it possible even though the project is in good standing, the reason for the delisting is because the exchanges are looking at the GitHub page and are not seeing recent commits?

Exchanges are scared to death of anything that had an ICO or looks like a security. Privacy coins are also a target. You can thank the good off US or A for that. Washington needs to get off its fat overstuffed ass and make some clear rules for crypto in general and take the power away from the SEC, we do not belong under their control.

I get the first part about securities, but there are plenty of other privacy coins that haven't been delisted. Just look at Monero, Dash or ZCash. Hell even Coinbase has ZCash for sale for USD.

Maybe there is a conspiracy to knock off Cloak for some reason or another, but the reality is there isn't that much traction on GitHub which sometimes (not always) means there isn't much on the development front.

Sounds interesting with less than 6M of CLOAK the potential would be as great as DASH or MONERO in the top 15 in terms of market capitalization but for that you need to roll up your sleeves or hire service providers if time lacks cohesion. Maybe a new challenge even for block chain developers or Chainsulting.

I agree and I think Nash Exchange will be the first DEX that breaks into the mainstream and competes with the big boys in terms of volume. There's a referral code in my sig if anyone wants a preview before it officially launches. Getting Cloak on there would probably more than make up for these other delistings in the future.

Dear Cloak Community,

In light of recent decisions by a number of popular exchanges to de-list $CLOAK, and the withholding of specific reasoning why, called for the careful consideration by the CloakCoin project of its overall strategy moving forward.
One can only speculate on the regulatory pressures bearing down on centralized entities as they fight to maintain compliance with laws that govern the many jurisdictions in which they operate.

Questions arise around what measures must be taken in order to mitigate risks and the associated liabilities concerning the trading of digital assets designed to circumvent traditional financial institutions.
The important context is that all crypto projects face the same challenges of delivering peer to peer economic networks in the face of a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. As we careen toward the digital dystopia of a cashless society, it’s critical that the right type of pivot and rebirth is taken.

Not only must we protect the ability to use privacy preserving cryptocurrency, but ensure they can be privately and safely acquired in the first place.

Introducing BYOB Exchange: The first truly private and decentralized exchange

In recent weeks the team has been evaluating the anonymous proposal submitted to our Github by an individual going by the name Lazaruski, who appears to have been very mindful of regulatory pressure.
By employing the expertise of some talented researchers and technologists, we were able to reach an agreement on the feasibility of the CloakX proposal.

Today we are officially announcing BYOB.Exchange and our commitment to a new direction, informed by a group of trusted advisors and experts.
We have taken into account thousands of suggestions, countless pages of feedback, and the deep insights of a number of key community members, to make this critical decision concerning CloakCoin’s future.

We pledge to adapt as follows:

1. Shifting resource allocation to foster a developer-first laser focus that prioritizes software deliverables and user experience.
2. Reorganizing the structure of our team to support the new direction, with careful management to ensure the best possible productivity.
3. Producing high quality, easily understood technical documentation in order to attract new contributors and improve developer experience.

Much thought has been given to Cloak’s current technology, required development and product market fit within the wider crypto ecosystem.

What is BYOB Exchange?

The proposed implementation of BYOB Exchange is a decentralized exchange network built atop proof of stake nodes, that reserve a fract ion of machine resources to facilitate peer to peer trading.
Considering Cloak already has staking nodes and migration to the new BTC codebase is on track for completion, the network is well positioned to accommodate a DEX interface embedded directly in the new hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet.

Through each wallet connected to the network, a fraction of the exchange interface would be encrypted and stored in a distributed manner on each machine participating as a staking node.
As CloakCoin does not incorporate masternodes, it naturally favours the decentralisation of the user interface, as well as the APIs of all supported cryptocurrencies.

What’s next for CloakCoin?

Learn more by visiting the BYOB Exchange landing page, or by reading the CloakX Proposal on our Github, which forms the basis of the software specification we have begun drafting.
As we are taking this new strategy very seriously and appreciate the feedback of our incredible community, we invite you to join the discussion in our Telegram group and extend our sincerest appreciation for your patience through this challenging time.
Long live CloakCoin!

Peace & Love

Team Cloak
