Quote
While Newsweek claimed that they had discovered “the face behind Bitcoin.” Dorian Nakamato denied having anything to do with it.

[...]

A little over a week ago, Newsweeklied.com, The Dorian Nakamoto Legal Defense Fund launched. However, there are a many flaws and concerns we have over the authenticity of the “legal fund.”

[...]

Although Newsweeklied.com asserts the effort is authorized and endorsed by Dorian, there is no evidence of such.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

wow, a scam around the "legal defense" (actually the fund is supposedly to benefit the plaintiff) of someone claiming NOT to be someone else.

The link said "the account has been suspended"

Judging from your quote, you suggest Newsweeklied.com is not in any way associated with The Dorian Nakamoto?

Yes, this looks very dodgy. I wouldn't donate anything to this. Hope Dorian isn't been taken advantage of here. The newsweek article was very sloppy journalism. Hard to believe they actually published it based on a few tenuous links.
