Yeah but someone has bought quite a lot of c2 today.

I want to get my coins back in my wallet. However the bootstrap just says importing for hours? how long should it take?

Many many hours, maybe a half day.

I want to get my coins back in my wallet. However the bootstrap just says importing for hours? how long should it take?

i've been waiting for a couple hours now but mine was about a month out of sync.. nrigo was having me check some of the coins he had sent to the surplus and its taking forever.. the wallet could really use an overhaul and i've been trying to get UdjinM6 to take a look to see what he can do with it again.. but i've got a feeling he can't do much for our windows versions as he owns a mac... lol

Anyways we were talking, and what if, everyone started having a say so in the coin instead of leaving it up to us, many minds are better than a few and we could start moving forward at a faster pace. I've been looking into a chat system sorta like slack, but one where anyone can join and we wont have to setup invites or any garbage like that for people to be involved.. I figure this way if someone has an idea they can contribute it or not, my contribution is going to be chain of conflict eventually, I just feel like the board is kinda in the way of progress and there is so much more that could be done, sure games are nice, but what about services, promotions, marketing, things we are lacking in... let me know what u guys think, and i was shocked to hear from nrigo we hit in the 1700s last night.. crazy!

Yeah it is strange someone bought quite a few.
I think the board is good to bring awareness to coin 2.
Chat system could be good to though.
I wonder how many are left in the community?

Isn't that just as slow as syncing wallet up with no bootstrap?

Well it's a shame one of the most fairly distributed coins of all time.
If we can think up any ROI projects that would be good. No coins ever get much interest for donations but ROI projects are well worth it if there is an opportunity a lot of people will go for it. I wonder who is buying these c2? and for what reason?

I'm hoping its someone thats building up a holding then going to throw out an idea to really make use of the coin, idk, but yeah an ROI project could be useful if anyone can think of one. Were a 2 year old coin now.. we've outlived most but kinda just rode out the waves, which is better than what some could say.

I'm not sure on this because I haven't kept up with much of the new coins coming out, but your right about the fair distribution, that and we were the only coin to be given out fully and to still be going now, been a good 2 years even if I work for peanuts, lol

it takes a day or 2 to sync, it has like 960k blocks it needs to download, you can try this, http://c2chain.info/bootstrap
not really sure how it works as I sync'd my wallet up the hard way but it should put you with about 3 - 5 hours left to sync.

Coin2 Buy Back Program UPDATE 2

The C2 Buy Back Program is officially launched !!!

It started very well as I received 200k C2 from the surplus wallet just in time to catch the second wave with a first sale Huh of 50k C2 on Poloniex in an average price of 0.00000633 Smiley
A Coin2 sale in the Buy Back Program, is it so strange ? Not really because I have to sell high to buy back more coins later when the price will go down.

This first step will end when the first C2 buy order will be filled.  I will repeat this endless and you can follow the progression here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AXKhMotD-iDc3FzduJJIxP13q0msBBL-KF-rNI6p2pA/edit?usp=sharing

My technique works well when there is enough volume and price fluctuation, but I sometimes have to wait many days to make a good trade. Thus I am going to apply a similar technique with altcoins which have more daily volume to multiply BTC income and to use the trading profits to buy back more Coin2 from the market, to add some price support and eventually to purchase more hashing power.

What's about the mining project ?

As the C2 market was stronger on March 18th and 19th, I sold about 800k of my personnal Coin2 holding and I cancelled some buy orders to add some hashing power.

My investment is about 2.2 BTC and the current hashing power is 2 TH/s SHA256 + 10 MH/s dagger-hashimoto (Ethereum hashrate).

It is too early to communicate the daily incomes because I made the last purchase yesterday and the payout from 0.5 TH/s is pending until April 9th (first purchase made by credit card).

So what's next?

- Purchasing more hashing power when I will able to do it
- Trading altcoins to increase mining incomes
- Purchasing some Coin2 to re-fill my bag
- Finding other ways to get more incomes for the game development and C2 project purpose
- Doing all this of my best

How can you support the project ?

- BTC donation to the Dev Team wallet: 1LUEr4diHQtQ5HsPahRB92dikw4i37JhY1
- Coin2 donation (will be used as main ingredient for my secret recipe of coins multiplication): CfGyBigu8zoBmc89vd97BLTmHH1VuogaQG
- Altcoins donation: please contact me by private message

Thank's for reading and see you soon  Smiley

Ok so I had a few ideas... one would make C2 mineable again to draw more interest, but would dillute the coin supply and cause a coin swap for everyone to a new blockchain which isn't really that appealing at the moment... so probly scratch that one unless people want it..

Another is the Minecraft server Bitquest has been made opensource, maybe a few of our members talented with java could adapt it for C2, it's economy currently runs on bitcoin. This could be good for the youtube channel, "Coin2Gaming", which currently features myself playing minecraft. Once the C2 economy is ready, I could do a few videos teaching people how to earn C2 and how to use the exchanges to make money with it.

Another is for any game programmers that need a model artist, I would create models for their games for them in exchange for C2. Model work has gotten fairly easy now that I have learned how to use Blender really well, so I would be happy to offer this service.

What does everyone else think? Were now a community effort, so a community opinion on this would be appreciated.  Cheesy

whats up king.  as far as making it mineable and forking, i dont think that would be wise.

if we can find some java programmers id rather have them work on chain of conflict and give you some much needed help.

and as far as doing some side work and getting paid in c, i dont know how many game programmers would be holding c2 to pay you right now but again i would rather steer them towards our ecosystem and pay them in c2 to build the community/game devs here.

my two cents for the day.

Well the FPS is mostly done in C#, the java programmer was something I would need to handle the bitquest server to convert it to C2. I have a small interest in playing Minecraft and have focused the Coin2Gaming channel on it for now as it would be a source of funding and is one of the most searched for topics on the entire internet, heck I have even looked stuff up on it myself occasionally, lol.

The goals behind that would be:

*Have our own MC Server that has constant exposure on Youtube.
*Have it paying out in Coin2
*It will expose new people into the community and to Coin2
*Keep the server public so new people can join while I do live streams.
*New viewers would be likely to join just to be in the videos.
*Every 250 views pays out like $0.15, doesn't take long to achieve this.

Plus everyone has a good time while Coin2 is being exposed. It seems all win-win

I haven't posted anything because I don't want to sound like a broken record..  Smiley

Making c2 mineable isn't a good idea in my opinion.  If anything, we should do something like the buy back program using mining to destroy a boat load of c2.  I'm not too keen on mining other coins to destroy their market,  when I think just mining BTC, and using that would suffice.

My main concern has been the same for quite a while now... We need a faster loading wallet that is more operating system friendly.. (I'd leave my c2 wallet open 24/7 on my pi2) This could encourage others to have a wallet staking 24/7 as well, providing more nodes to sync up to.  Last time I opened my Windows wallet and waited 10 min., I had one peer connection.

I just gotta learn how to code!

in that case, lets see if we can open up that avenue.  remember king your talking to a non-programmer...lol...im all for minecraft and c2 being together and any new faces on c2 is a good thing.

btw if one knows a java programmer how much leg work in java programming would it take to convert the bitquest server to handle c2?

I need to grab the address for the Burn wallet I made back last year for us to destroy coins with, that should be a bit helpful there.

As far as the wallet goes I've mentioned it to UdjinM6 that it seems a tad bit slow to load. Idk how much he could do for the windows version as he has a mac, but we will figure something out. HyperFuture might have a programmer or 2 he could have take a look, I will have to ask him.

As far as things go though now I want the community to have more of a say in what goes on, it shouldn't be left to a handful of people as its hindering the growth of the coin.
