Because it is basically a good thing in my view that I give something for the community and I get useful and good services in return. However, in many countries money goes to wrong places and instead of serving the community politicians steal the money... that is pretty annoying and makes me doubt the system

I would not have a problem with paying taxes as long as they are used for good and reasonable services. But since in my country the taxes are ridiculously high and the money goes to the wrong place causing shitty public services it is nonsense.

The issue is that in most countries, though the citizens pay their taxes, the government doesn't use it for the right purposes and when they don't pay, you are going to be jailed for tax evasion which is a very serious crime.

Taxes are government mandated and yes its a serious crime if someone refuse to pay tax if they have income or business because the purpose of taxation is good for the country for its people but corruption is hard to abolish in most country's that is why the people's tax is not fully optimized by its purpose, so mostly people doesn't want to pay tax much more for those who have low income but again its a mandatory from the government.

Not knowing where your tax money is going is the biggest problem with taxes. I do believe that the concept has been somewhat outdated with the establishment of internet-based crowd funding. A lot of public works could potentially be funded with online campaigns where interested people would donate the money required for the things they need.

This is not a simple thing that in which way you are saying , here you can see yourself that if you will do work in any field then surely you will get success and also fail , if you will get success then you will surely touch the upper limit of tax to pay minimum amount , here at this point you will have better life , but what if you will get unsuccessful to make earnings , surely here few better rules to help lower category people ( by componsation ) they are using that tax .
And also they are not only using the money for fun purpose but they are using it to develop the country and also are giving payment to the armies and security agency which are in the 24 hour time to help the nation to be protected from every type of attack .
So here everyone is restricted by a small understanding that they should pay tax .
But here it is also a big factor that government should clear there rules towards those field rules from where they want take tax .
