Are you actually talking about mining reward, of course minus have to be rewarded just as anyone that perform a task and completes and accomplishes it deserves being rewarded, can only consider the life aftermaths of a miners and what distance to gain or face after they have made their earnings and face other realities in life, while what everyone does with his reward at the friends from each other and days they also determine how we can be able to fix other challenges being a miner, both PoW and PoS are legitimate.
