50-55 . with more oc it can do 7.4 with 50% tdp (asus 1080ti)

Completely wrong use of the term 'white knight' once again and, no, not all of those posts are in this thread. I don't post regularly anymore as a lot of people dig through accounts to find things to mine, so I use a couple alt accounts for that.

Your ESL is showing dude. You don't even understand deterrence. IF you buy a miner and you then give it away, that hurts you more then it hurts SP. Not only do you lose money on the initial transaction, you then lose your advantage from mining as rewards are finite and distributed based on hash. Meaning a coin only emits so many new coins per day, it doesn't matter how much hash you have, that never changes. That means you're constantly fighting against other miners hash for your piece of the pie and what miner you use is part of what determines that. If everyone uses the same miner, no one has an advantage.

Look at the picture again. The power limit is not set to 50%.

I set a powerlimit in msi afterburner to around 80-90% to achieve 7.4MHASH. With a powerlimit of 80-90, the card is still only pulling 50-55% in the wall.

If I force a 50% powerlimit, the card cannot spike, and the core clock will trottle down to 1600MHASH and produce a bad result.

The offical miner from a1 does 24.55MHASH on the 1080ti with 100% tdp, and the sp-mod does more than 30 with the same settings and power usage.
