It sounds a bit like ARCH (the other one of the few legit Altcoins out there): for a certain amount of coins, you get exclusive access to valuable information. I like the concept, would be great to hear a bit more about that!

A fresh wind, blowing away all those coins which are generated to promise (and not keep) features to scoop people's hard earned money off of them. Time for a change.

Hello All,

The Coin Street News Trade & TA group, which is lead by Twitter's @djThistle01 will now be providing a premium membership. (http://www.coinstreetnews.com/2014/12/csn-premium-membership-dtc-daytradercoin-burn)

Memberships will be payable in BTC. We were going to accept DTC (DayTraderCoin) only, but we thought of a unique way to increase the value of DTC.


How It Works:
When a person pays for membership they will pay in BTC. Shortly after that, CSN will send the corresponding amount of DTC to a public wallet address. Then, on a monthly basis we will burn the DTC reserves until a good chunk of our DTC is gone, thus raising the value over time by reducing available supply. Also, once a month CSN will be running a contest and the winner of the contest will win free entry into the group for a couple of weeks.


Why a Premium Membership?
Crypto has less volume lately, and the action in the stock, currency, and commodities markets are far too tempting to be ignored. The group will focus on BTC, personal trading strategies, a central trade fund, in-depth TA lessons, and the expansion into real world options trading. The DOW has been on a very long bull run, Japan has slipped into recession, oil is down, etc...it is most certainly a rare opportunity of extreme volatility on the horizon.


Fees (short overview):

- Basic Membership: 1 time fee of 0.25 BTC gets you 1) Access to Video Lessons, 2) some tips, 3) open Skype chat, and 4) limited 1-on-1 time

I see that we can do some great things with DTC. Teach people how to be successful traders, provide accurate trade recommendations, and profit through use of the coin. Looks like a winner.

We're glad you all like the direction we are taking with DTC. Cryptocurrency markets can be unforgiving to inexperienced traders, and they can become discouraged very quickly after a few bad investments, causing them to abandon crypto entirely. By teaching more people how to read charts and invest based on TA rather than emotion and hype, we hope to level the playing field a little bit. With the volume in cryptocurrency markets already diminishing, the more traders who stick around, the better!

We have also decided to run a contest that will allow traders to win a free spot in the Basic membership group. Once in the Basic group, traders then have the ability to win a spot in the Premium group.

Contest Details:
The contest will be open to the general public from Dec 3-14 2014. The winner announced on Dec 16th and will be added to our membership group until Dec 31 2014.

How to Win:
CSN is all about helping people develop trading skills, thus the contest is modeled around the idea of “Who is the Best Trader”. The person with the greatest gains wins, pretty simple right? Right! The “Buy Side” total must be equal or greater than 0.5BTC and the person with the greatest gain (the “Sell Side” total) wins the game/contest. The 0.5BTC spent can, for example, be 0.1BTC traded 5 or more times. You do not need to buy 0.5BTC outright just a minimum buy total of 0.5BTC.

There's nothing really to review in the code, the primary features of this coin are provided as services, not as wallet add-ons.

Thistle has merged his TA group with CSN, but is expanding the scope of his group to include premium non-crypto services, lessons and tips from other skilled Technical Analysts, and more.

There is a basic membership for low-cap traders so that they can watch video tutorials. The new premium service is meant to teach a small group of dedicated daytraders the secrets of the craft. Greetings DayTraders, we have some updates for you today!

First, we now have QT wallets available for both Windows and OSX. With the Windows wallet, you will have the option to trade DTC on Bittrex by entering your API keys in the "Trade" tab. Both wallets also include our IRC chat so traders can drop by and discuss TA and other market strategies with our team and each other. For those of you who are unable to use the QT wallet, you can still join us in #daytraderchat on freenode via any IRC client, and also through the "Live Chat" tab on the CSN website (http://www.coinstreetnews.com/chat). We hope to build a strong community and encourage participation by having a place outside of Bitcointalk to congregate.

Additionally, we have established some new nodes to support the network. They have been integrated as seed nodes in the updated wallets, but for those of you still using the old ones, you may add the following IPs to your daytradercoin.conf file:
