premine was gradually sold for XC development (paying team members, xc mobile wallet app, PR articles etc). I dont know how many times it has been stated, but the next question you ask that has been answered will be ignored and I advise everyone to do the same. Making a pre-emptive statement may have caused a sell-off, yes. But the sell-off happened anyway, so who's to know what would have been better and better for whom.

I would like to think that the team being upfront about their knowledge of the coming FUD campaign and perhaps having prepared a statement of defense would have limited the damage done to the reputation of the projects at hand. Markets are more likely to recover from a massive sell-off if the overall sentiment towards those markets is still positive.

Given the amount of hysteria and confusing information that has been tossed around, propagated, regurgitated, believed by some, dismissed by others at this point I think it will take substantially more for these markets to recover than if the FUD campaign had been preemptively deflected.

But, hey, I'm done hashing out the past. What's done is done. I'll just be watching more and participating less for now. That is all.

First off:
Dan never uses caps in his handle. Its all lowercase letters. I've been in enough IRC to know this. Then you also have some inaccuracies in the spelling which is a little suspect.

Secondly:
regarding that pastebin you probably saw, Syn was in our forums earlier discussing  the fatal flaws of ZK and why it wouldnt work with XC . In the pastebin it seems like he's praising it. Doesnt make any sense how you could go from liking something to despising it.


Let me remind you that Pookie was actually caught faking logs, pretending to be Battbot earlier but ended up getting caugh because he didnt spell his name correctly. That pastebin looks exactly like the same foolish attempt to manipulate and stir new FUD. Oh and PS, Pookie is British FYI. that would explain the british dialect in the pastebin as he was probably using Dan's handle.

These guys have been doing this stuff for a while, it is our goal as a community to stop being so naive and start actually trusting Dan and Co who have been more transaprent than other teams, and have consistantly met their deadlines to deliver new tech. FUD is supposed to make you question yourself which is exactly what your doing, and its appears to be working on you quite well.

wow, I have a look at this thread once in a while for an update on recent activities and such, but that proves to be rather challenging with all of this debate and arguing going on... It's hard to find any useful information.

I've been keeping up, and to be honest, there's nothing positive that's been posted in the past few days.  Some announcement about an announcement, but that's about it.  

Why is the OP not being updated with any information? Links? Info about the status of the ITO? What about the website?  It's completely bare bones...and you're asking for 2500 btc?  At least put out the perception there is a professional team behind this $817k USD ask...  I could put together a hell of a website for less than .25% of that, take that into consideration.

You're making people have to read through 155 pages of complete crap to find the very little bit of real information.   Maybe Synechist should consider spending time on these sort of tasks rather than trying to defend everyone all day...

I can only speculate but I'd imagine Dan wrote his statement and passed it on to Synechist to tidy up and make it look more professional. Dan is a coder afterall. Synechist specialises in PR and his job his to communicate on behalf of XC. Do you think Obama writes his own statements word for word?

hope xc thread opens soon i don't want to occupy blocknet thread with xc talk. that beeing said we just got a mobile update in xctalk by Dan check in r2.

also i just read through the convo with ryno again. man that was one great brainstorming. its a shame that this merge will not come reality due to some few , i would at least liked to have seen the 2 communities vote on this . i think the majority of sdc investors are behing ryno but those are not the ones to be all over the forum. would have been interesting to see the votes on both sides.
