I gave out paper wallets for Christmas last year. Thank goodness I loaded them in early October, because everyone is still slightly above water.

My inner bull says that you need to get out and get your Christmas shopping done before the end of this week.  Wink

Also, sell on Boxing Day before everyone's family earns how easy it is to spend their gifts now through Bitpay.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So, many of us westerners/Christmas celebrators will be starting to save money for Christmas presents pretty soon.

Does anyone think this will affect BTC price? i.e. People who would normally be investing part of their monthly pay cheque in BTC not doing so.

What do you guys think?

I believe it would cause BTC price to drop as people are selling BTC to buy present.

I think price will skyrocket at 20th December when people will buy Bitcoins to put them on wallets and gift those valets to other people.
And i think price will fall deep on 26th December when people will open their christmas gifted wallets and start spending those bitcoins.
