It would be interesting to see if a pool of bitcoiners could leverage their collective spending power on counsel to represent them or the interests of affected class members either directly as a party or as Amicus Curiae (friends of the court) in big constitutional challenges -- e.g., if the NY regulations ever passed, the current ambitious (!) definition of "resident" would likely become onerous for those who could least afford to fight that classification.
Similarly, from a lawmaking perspective, are any lobbyists accepting cryptocurrency? Hot Dog Venders for Free CryptoCommerce, anyone?
