Update: I've decided to create the logo on my own and not have a mascot. This bounty is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Bit API Hub is looking to showcase your design work. We need you to design us a logo and/or a mascot for our business. We will choose one winning logo design and one winning mascot design. This contest will run until November 1st, but may be extended past that date if no contest entries are what we're looking for. When you win, you will receive 0.1 BTC for your submission (0.2 BTC if you win both contests) and have an excellent show piece for your professional portfolio.

You may submit as many entries as you'd like to and your winning entry becomes property of Bit API Hub once selected as the winning design. We may choose to modify your work in any way we choose.

Requirements
  • The finished image must be in Gimp's XCF format (PSD is unacceptable as Gimp removes the layers in a PSD file)
  • Must be at least 2500px wide
  • All elements of the image must be on their own layer.
  • Must have a modern feel to it
  • You must have created the entire image from scratch.
  • A copy of any fonts used must be included once we've selected your entry as the winner.
  • Text layers must remain editable as text.
  • Must be able to look good on a black or white background (If we just need to change the text color to make it work, that's fine.)
  • Must not have a background on the finished image - Submissions may have watermarks or backgrounds, but not the finished product unless the background is a layer.
  • The logo must include our name, "Bit API Hub," but the mascot doesn't necessarily need to.
  • The mascot must be easy to re-pose. Anywhere that there's a joint in the person or creature, we must be able to reposition that section of the body. This means that all segments need to be on their own layer.
  • The mascot must be of an entire person or creature. (Busts and headless or footless people are unacceptable.)

Your Entry

The rules are subject to change at any time. When you submit your entry, it must be in layered XCF format. You may include a watermark on each layer in order to make the logo or mascot unusable as such. The final submission may not include a watermark. Text layers may be uneditable as text only in the submission.

What is Bit API Hub?

Bit API Hub will allow developers to integrate hundreds of APIs in the Bitcoin market by simply calling our API using our one page SDK and writing very little code. Our server will act as a gateway to the third party API servers and where available, you will make calls using our API keys so that you don't need to even sign up with the 3rd-party API services. If the remote server speaks XML, JSON, or SOAP, you will receive the response as a JSON response in order to allow you to avoid having to convert the responses on your own. In the event that the remote server speaks another language, you will receive the response in it's native tongue.
