Well, let's just get to the point: is CPU Mining worth, in any of the currencies?
I tried LTC, but looks like that with this reaper miner GPU it's a lot better than CPU.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

As an example on my server with CPU 7 cores *Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E31240 @ 3.30GHz*, i get when i mine with CPU ~25Mhash and with 4xRadeon 6950 overclock edition ~1.6Ghash . When i was mining on slush's pool with 2 cards i got 0.3BTC/day and with CPU ~0.000003... make the difference

If you have a bunch of extra CPUs and you don't pay for electricity, I guess there's no reason not to. LTC would be your best bet. But the short answer is definitely No. Even though LTC was originally written to be mined with CPUs, GPUs are much better now. CPUs really just don't cut it.

Really not worth it i dont think considering the power requirements of a CPU are similar to a GPU and the GPU has considerably more memory bandwidth and parallel processing power. The nature of hashing makes GPU's very well suited to the task
