Just for speculation fun

Looks like we finally retested 5k an it held.
Remember it was only a few weeks ago that we were wondering when we would break 5k.

that is also my point. This project is supposed to be a long-term one, and there will be plenty of ups and downs on the way. There will be also plenty of FUDsters and prophets coming here every day to spread their word, myself included. Make your business usual, do not fall in their traps.

Let me tell you something you obviously are going to disregard immediately but it is 100% true nevertheless: There's no "long term" in crypto. Any crypto that pretends it is "long-term" will just make your money disappear.

No exceptions.

Also btc?, should i sell them asap?  Shocked
Storj, maidsafe, ethereum..............
Why are you in crypto if there is no longterm?

No, I believe BTC will remain -and flourish-, for a long time, as a real alternative to FIAT. The others, well, they are definitely not "long term", but let them actually come to happen first... they are not ready for primetime -or anytime- just yet. Storj is both dumb and doomed, so scratch that one out; the pother two show some promise. Let's wait and see what they actually bring when they arrive. Whatever they bring, you can rest assured it won't be long term. It will be, best case scenario, NXT II. Sounds familiar?

the incentive for long term investors now is free private phone calls for life, and a big return on market cap growth for an innovative new communications product that's massively undervalued.

can you answer my question barabas, if you think vior doesn't have value why are you still here?

Well you as me, dont know what will happen in the future. But im not as pesimist as you over the longterm. Obviously im not holding coins for longterm if there is nothing productive behind it. For example i wouldnt hold litecoin as an example, as there is nothing behind at moment.
I will prefer holding vior than litecoin.
But crypto is unpredictable, on that idea i give you my point

can you answer my question barabas, if you think vior doesn't have value why are you still here?

I visit and participate in a few threads, this one being one. I have traded this coin a few times and bought a little a couple of days ago hoping to sell above 8,000. Still have it.

I did not say that vior doesn't have value, what I implied is that the case-use, as of now, has limited if any value at all given the size and quality of its competition... which, by the way, is quite reflected in the price move since the MegaChat news hit. Will it has any value aside from the calls? I don't know... certainly not now. So, frankly, I believe it will rather quickly disappear into oblivion.... but I have been wrong before, so it may not only survive but even thrive... depending on what it becomes OTHER than a phone/video call means.

I don't plan on being around for long if that's what interests you. My expectations for profit in the trade have been already been quite diminished and will exit as soon as viable.

I hope this opinion of mine doesn't sink the price as some pretend it will do for I would much rather sell much higher than hold the bag, you follow?

The influence in the price for the last couple of days is beyond evident. But it is ok if you choose to believe that MegaChat has nothing to do with it.

It seems to be a total waste of time to exchange anything here for the usual suspects are so set in advancing their agendas that regardless of any reality, no matter how evident, it would be an exercise in futility. Oh well...

Last couple of days?, maybe you havent checked the thread so often. This has been talked here before. More than a week ago i think.
If you want to think the price drop is for this notice is ok, im just telling you that this news are from a week ago at least.
By the way what is happening here, is that with this prices we will again into trading groups picks, so more selling pressure upwards.
But well, thats how markets work

I have received word that Vior dev is now trying to get licensing.

Seems like this contradicts statements made by bitcoin carpenter

Quote
Actually there has been development, it *seems* someone from Viorcoin has contacted about licensing.
I can't be sure yet, as several people seem to be contacting me about this issue, on both sides, and all are using public email addresses.

So I'm not sure of each person's affiliation.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Just a little bit of understanding can go a long way.

There are hundreds of voir licensing agents, and there is no way for us the non developers to go through them all to a certain whether the dev has got one or not without spending countless hours doing due diligence.
If your referencing one of the ones I emailed it could very well be a misunderstanding on the reps part.

After coming to the realization that it would take to much time for me to confirm the truth behind all this

I have decided to believe the dev.
It's very easy to aquire the proper licensing, so why would he lie about it.

If your not actively using the technology behind your crypto investment,

IT IS A SCAM!!!!

Because licenses are expensive
