This is the second installment of my daily poll. The goal is to get a better idea of the composition of the current Bitcoin population, in order to attract appropriate merchants to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

My sentiment is that the entire bitcoin community is quite young.

It try to explain this to my parents, and they just smile and nod. As do all of my friend's parents.

It depends on how you define "young".

The numbers (actually, the forum members) will soon speak :-).

I find it funny that they just smile and nod. Considering it's young people who affect the world too. As if they're somehow conceited and downplaying our role in society.

Anyway, enough ranting on other people's parents. How long do you plan on keeping this poll up, it'd be very interesting to see a demographic of age over a few 100 people in the poll.

I think I'll keep each poll open for seven days.

Actually, it's already useful as it is now... The forum appears to be populated mostly by people between 18 and 35 years old.
