For me it is use. Use that can be given to a coin. The rest are sheep of the same flock because they have no use. Yes algorithms fantastic, yes innovations but remain obsolete because they have no use. If Catc really welcomed by the people, will be used. If X11 is safe, I don`t think one is needed; if yes what needs please expose you other algorithm. Regards

Of course the current government doesn`t want a query; is not stupid. Is too much money they lose, power and prestige.
This participation (hidden vote) is the first stone in the independence of Catalonia.
The big moment will be the regional elections in Catalonia.

Bitcoin, CataloniaCoin etc are about a Revolution. Its the revolution against tyranny. All governments are corrupt. Scotland tried it and failed. Catalonia should be able to pull it off. If they actually took on the coin as their currency they would be able to free themselves financially from the criminal overlords.

At some point in the future a country will take on crypto. If you buy CataloniaCoin you are supporting the revolution.

This is the future of cryptocurrency, and it will be seen in history as the tool that gives the common man freedom.

A1: CataloniaCoin is a currency that can be minted by anyone, anywhere and anytime. After the IPO-Stage (ends today at 23:59:59) anyone can start mining the coin (Scrypt-N algorithm). After that, we're going to start working on the new algorithm change. We're going to implement X11 PoW+PoS hybrid algorithm to the coin.

In a PoS/PoW hybrid there is no way to predict or control whether or not the next block will be PoS or PoW and therefore you cannot guarantee you will be in control of a long stream of blocks unless you have 51% of the PoW and PoS power, ensured every time with the mining-process. If you don't know the next block verification, this is a security plus

As you can see today at 23:59:59 GMT+1 IPO-Stage is going to end, tomorrow people from catalonia is going to vote and we're going to release all the wallet to let people transfer their bought CATc's to the wallets 

We're constantly making public announcements, you can check the thread and comments to see that we've published a new roadmap, whitepaper, pgp key, etc. All to be more open and transparent to you, the people that's going to use CataloniaCoin.

I've seen you last 2 replies @CataloniaDev and they're good conclusions.

I haven't seen the bitcointalk topic about the PoW+PoS tests before, but it's really interesting and more specifically the part that I've quoted before.
X11 is a well-know algorithm with better anonimity and can fit with the idea of a decentralized socio-economical alternative for Catalonia √
