Update worked Smiley

There's a problem with the wallets (masternodes?) today — everything's been stuck on block 1080513 since earlier this morning (mining-dutch has the same problem), diff/nethash reporting broken, etc. etc.
Seems fixed.

Off again.

Otherwise, when things are cleared up I'm switching Switched from mining-dutch over to you — latency to the netherlands is somewhat problematic, are you in the US? eu1.altminer.net guess not. Ah well give it a try anyway.  Wink
Working very well!

Worked well for a half hour while the chain was up...  Undecided I dunno what's going on.

Seems to be working. Are you in the US? Can try to setup a nearby stratum later.

These situations happen because sometimes the extraction difficult goes very hard, and the mining extraction goes low. You can monitoring the extraction difficult on the explorer.
The blockchain is stable, and rock solid. Also the wallets work well.
It's important to keep up to date your wallet, please visit ufocoin.net

Hope you have a very good week.

Hi xonar, going to take this discussion over to the feathercoin/UFO forum, seems silly having two threads going.  Wink

Yes, east coast. During the past couple of day's "ufo events", I had switched from mining-dutch to your site, so I'm staying put from here out. No need for US stratum at this time — things are working fine, latency is not a problem. Wouldn't mind seeing FTC there too at some point...  Wink Grin

It is not just the wallets. The whole UFO Core is being updated and I think UFO Core 0.9 will be coming up over the weekend.

UFO Core 0.10.0 will have v3 blocks and it will be mandatory to update your wallets. We will issue the necessary alerts ahead.

If you can, please remember us Mac users. Still only have 0.8.8.1. Grin

I'm having "fun" attempting to get bushstar's recent 0.8.8.3 compiled into ufo-qt on 10.11; lots and lots of c++11, homebrew libs, etc. issues to overcome in the existing git master, but that was the case with all 0.8.8.x releases. Wonder if it would make sense to add a Mac branch...

Got a ufod, but running the qt .pro file is another ball of wax... almost there, almost there... Still fun though. Cheesy Who did the 0.8.8.1 ufo-qt?

Yeah, we know a mac wallet is missing but our main focus is to release the UFO Core 0.9.0 now. If somebody could give us a hand, that would be nice.

Do not ask me why UFO coin came to mind but it did tonight and man am I glad to see you guys are still with this one. Looks like you got ahead with the wallet since the old Bittrex days. I know your no longer there, kind of living on Coinexchange.io at the moment, any plans for movement back out there? I actually now market for Visio, used to market for PIVX till budget issues made me move on. Kind of curious if there are goals on this at this stage or kind of a kick around project for the fun of it, which is fine as well. Either way I think for old times sake, might kick up a few miners on this for a side hold. Might be game to help spread word back on this coin, I mean crypto needs a UFO coin so why not UFO coin ? lol.

Great job either way, Bittrex is a hell of a place, VIsio is struggling to get in on with them ourselves and maintaining that crowd with the short attention spans in crypto is hell lol. Keep the coin going, really and honestly glad to still find out this is being worked on and out there.

UFO Core 0.9.0 has been released for public testing. Lots of changes, amendments and adaptations were brought to the UFO code, paving the way to UFO Core 0.10 to 0.13 (CSV, SegWit) coming Jan '18. Download the wallet from here https://downloads.ufocoin.net/ufo-0.9.0-setup.exe, test and report on issues, if present.

Cheers to our dev bushstar!

🛠 Mining pool update 🛠

https://altminer.net
Low latency, scalable and secure mining pool infrastructure
Currently only 0.45% fee (PROMO)
Automatic payouts every 120 minutes
No registration required

AltMiner.net was also attacked by the recent yiimp hacks (further information here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163058.0)
We were offline several days securing our servers, recreating all wallets and adding several additional layers of security. Not only we have now added an intrustion prevention system with anomaly detection, we also added DDoS protection and several further measures.

Now we think it is again safe to mine with us and we thank you for your patience during those hard days. As a bonus for your trust we currently have lowered all fees to only 0.45%!

If you have any questions feel free to contact us!

▶️▶️▶️ How to mine❓
Use the following parameters at your preferred mining software (replace WALLET with your wallet address):
Code:
-a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:4233 -u WALLET -p c=UFO

UFO CORE 0.9.0 of the UFO ROADMAP has been released!

Please update your wallets because v3 blocks with the upcoming 0.10.0 release won't work with older versions.

Again, outstanding job by our dev bushstar.
