Fiat money is an obvious scam, the problem is when the adoption of the scam is worldwide and has monopoly status. The magic printed money WILL get accepted as valid. Thats how the US is "recovering" from the crisis.

fiat money is the government's way to regulate the circulation of money in a country, but sometimes this way create a monopoly in the financial sector, where the rich will get richer and the poor are getting poorer, when we turn on bitcoin, the monopoly will not happen , because there are no government regulations that regulate the circulation of bitcoin in the virtual world, the problem is with the bitcoin exchange of goods is still very little, so we still have to exchange bitcoin with fiat money in circulation in a country ...  Roll Eyes

The printing part cannot be disputed by anybody.
It seems to have gotten a lot worse, with QE by different countries.

As opposed to the rest of the world that functions normally with fiat? Which is the compelling argument?

It's not fiat money that is a pump, but the market relative to it, like stocks and bonds. Money is continuously printed because our economy is based on debt, and so you are forced to work an entire life to pay it. Than there's the part about the rich who become richer, but it's more of a consequence.

Who holds fiat? No one "invests" by holding fiat.
