Did you see Secretary Geithener's threat to the Congress of "irrevocable damage" if the debt ceiling was not raised?

If that means irrevocable damage to debt based money, I might be willing to accept that.

The problem with these kind of threats is that they result in people getting hurt no matter what happens.
