Your subject line is interesting enough to get people to read it, yet your content-free post ensures nobody will actually respond to it. Well, nobody except me. Dammit, now look what you made me do. Angry

Of course Bitcoin is a bigger joke than the US dollar. The real question is, who is the joke on, and do they know it yet? I would say it's safe to say that we Bitcoin users will be the ones laughing in the end. Cool

trick question (never).

Some help could be more competition for Casascius (which is great btw. I have bought some of his coins recently & satisfied Smiley ) - which will mean lowering spreads on the psychical coins and give them bit more exchanging value - now they are more like a promotional & collection gadget.

never is quite a long time! as I noted on a previous thread someone said "why are you here at all-still"
By answering your own question (immediately) shows a closed mind and its a bit sad really. Still, ignoring your answer a more appropriate  view is "never say never". As the depression deepens merchants must cut costs to survive. BTC has almost no transaction fee's and no call backs- its a no brainer- so a few years is my guess. reg
