I know that there IS an option to "NOTIFY me of replies".... in this bitcoin.org forum.....

But  DOES IT WORK??

Do you actually RECEIVE email notifications of new replies tho.....?   .....in the bitcoin.org forum?

I never have.

( Please reply to me via email in case I never see this thread again.  Thanks!  Smiley   bruce@onlyonetv.com   )

1 + 20999999 = x

If you've come back to answer this security question, then yes it works.

But no, it doesn't, and neither does the "show new replies to your posts" function.

It does work.  I hadn't participated in this thread, but I clicked to “notify” button in the upper right corner to see if it worked, and this morning I received an email with the following content:

Code:

It works as expected!  Smiley

This is so weird....

Then WHY..... since I have Notify set to ON.... ( and I always obsessively turn Notify ON for every thread ).....   and my email address IS correct in my profile ...

Why have I NEVER received a notification of new replies! ?

The lack of the functionality of this feature bothered me so much....  I started my own alternative forum....  ( http://bitcoinme.com/forum )

I have no idea.  I have heard many people complain about it, but it works for me.  Could it be that you need to tweak the notification settings in your profile?

Cheers,
