Can someone explain to me how it's acceptable for Factom to take their network offline with no warning whatsoever?

I just tried to withdraw about 150 factom off of Poloniex. Waited an hour and checked the blockchain, nothing. Check polo withdraw history, completed.

Nothing on the official twitter, nothing on their Facebook page, nothing on the Bitcointalk thread.... blockchain website has no record of it, and no new transactions are coming in.
Nothing about pulling the network down (apparently for several days without notice)

Polo couldn't just tell me the network was down or disallow me from withdrawing? I had no fucking idea the network was down, how would I?

Now my money is stuck while I wait an unknown period of time to find out what the fuck is going on? While the coin price can do whatever it wants?

You shouldn't have to hunt the Dev team down on Slack to find out what is going on.

Factom network is down and being updated, i have no idea how polo can give a txid while the network is down

This is a message for developers here.  I bought factom on crowdsale, at some point while playing with the previous version of factom wallet I created one more address in adition to one that connected to a 12 word phrase and sent 200 factoids to that address, than the wallet backup file (factoid_wallet_bolt.db) was accidentally deleted so I left only with 12 words phrase address and the 200 factoids were lost. I do have corrupted wallet files that I tried to recover with undelete programs so I am trying to get something meaningful out of them. After lots of failed attempts, here's the last email I got from a factom support guy:

"if I were in your shoes, I would brute force trying to find the private key, if it is there.

write a script which would iterate over each byte, take the next 32 bytes, convert those bytes to a pubkey, then convert it to an FA... address. If there is a match, you have found the private key.  If that doesn't work, you can search for the 512 bit seed, and derive several private keys off of that, and check each one of those against your public key.

I'm sorry, I can't write any of this code for you, as I do not have time, but a competent developer can see the opensource I sent you earlier and write this brute forcing code."
 
If some developer here can make this script I can thank him with some part of recovered factoids. Please PM me if you can.

Its cheap again today , I don't find much info on when they are actually releasing the Exodus + M2 I was hoping for the first of this month but that has come and gone , so now I'm hoping for the 15th of this month but I struggle to find clear answers here or on the Slack.
It would be nice if they made it a little more clear whats coming up this month.
